Words of Wonders is a popular crossword-based word game. It was originally launched by Fugo Games and Naya Games in 2013 through Facebook App Centre. Currently, it is available for you to play online on Android and iOS devices. It will allow you to start with a few letters as a clue. How to Set-Up Word of Wonders?
When it was introduced, it was available on the Facebook App Store. Now you can download directly from the Google Play Store or the App Store directly on your smartphone. Log in, and you are done. To save the game level, you must log in using your Facebook account.
Rules of Word of Wonders
Once you click on the game icon on your smartphone, the game opens. The game starts with Egypt, at the first level. You will be presented with the first crossword and the jumbled-up letters. You must create a word and have them placed on the crossword. Place your finger on a letter and drag it across the others to complete a word. As you move forward, you will receive gifts that you need for your onward journey.
Scoring
Players must finish a crossword using the letters provide alongside. As they complete the crossword, they move forward on the voyage. Moving forward, the player can gather various bonuses that can be used later.
After gaining the requisite number of stars based on how well you have played, you get to choose cards that can lead to bonuses, like gems, rockets, and sapphires. The rockets can be used to open letter positions in the next game.
There is a dashboard showing the game level and voyages undertaken, countries traveled to, and the wonders of the world covered.

Is Words of Wonders a free game?
Yes, you can download it from the Play Store for free. However, when you finish all the gems and sapphires and remain stuck at your level, you can move forward by paying to get additional gems and sapphires.

When can I open the Daily Puzzle?
Players can open the Daily Puzzle at Level 30.

Yes, the games contain in-app ads. You can remove them by paying Rs. 520.

Is there any way to win sapphires instead of purchasing them?
There are many ads that freeze the screen and lock my phone. I cannot get them to finish or close, I have to close the WoW program altogether in order to start over and play some more. Sometimes (especially the spinner) even restarting won’t clear the ad and I have to wait for the next day to continue the spinner. Could you make a way to kill these ads that freeze the phone?
drag the letters exposed in the puzzle together. Now check what letters are left to work with…..works for me every time! I’m visual I guess.
I have 30 sapphires, how do I use them?
How do we use the green gems? What purpose do they serve?
I am only at level 10802 and have 200254 gems at this point along with178 bulbs and 50 hammers and ever increasing.
An idea: On the 6 or seven word levels why don’t you introduce a timer countdown in order to finish that particular level in the time stipulated for rewards of some kind, either extra hammer, gems, bulbs etc. One should not take more than 15 to 20 seconds to complete these levels I think.
My other thought is, one any level, if you manage to get each word correct without a mistake, this could be another incentive. Valid words that are not part of the crossword are not penalized but rather go towards the 25 words used points bonus.

The green gems are there so that idiots can buy them. Why anyone should want to buy something that’s worth nothing, now that is a mystery. Why Fugo want to sell them, that’s easy.

The blue tokens can be used to complete daily puzzles from former months missed. Still trying to figure out the green gems! Surely they did not create them as part of the game, and they are completely useless!
You spend the green gems to buy a clue. 100 gems per clue.
The green gem is used to buy letters. You need 100 to buy a letter. If you don’t have any free letters on your lightbulb, but you have 100 green gems, click on the light bulb, you’ll get a letter, and 100 points will be deducted from your green gems.
No tip, but would someone please tell us what you can do with the blue medallions, besides playing missed daily puzzle, it really annoys me when I get rewarded with something I can’t really use, like blue medallions and rockets. They are not a reward to me. Now if you could use the blue medallions to purchase light bulbs or hammers that would be great.

Hi Folks.
Like you all, I had heaps of questions, and found little in the way of answers, so have been left to learn as I go.
Ok, the green Gems … only use I’ve found is as stated above.. they work the same as light bulbs and hammers. If you haven’t run out of light bulbs and hammers, you would never have known.
The Blue Token things are called “Sapphires” .. these, as stated above allow you to access previous daily challenge puzzles you have missed, but also allow you to choose custom avatars in your profile… at 100 Sapphires a pop.
The Rockets , Fireworks, .. whatever you call them, reveal random letters at the start of each level. Other than paying money for them, they are sometimes rewarded when Butterflies are ready to be claimed, and certain challenges are achieved.
All in all, a great game, but unless the Ads are really annoying you, don’t go spending your money on this game .. there is no need.

Rockets are usually part of a reward, and they are used automatically. If you have rockets, when you start a new game random letters will be shot into the puzzle as clues.

alot of questions here, but not many answers. Thank you to the ones that gave their input. Wish they would clarify.
In select games under the hammer you will see a gift. Time remaining to claim this gift will flash alternately with a number. The number represents the number of blue wow tokens/gems to claim it. Wait till timer runs down to 1 to claim it. Saves on tokens. This timer runs thru several games before it expires. Rewards aren’t all that great but it’s something.
I HAVE 24000 GREEN GEMS AND 48 blue sapphires I believe they have no value just looks pretty and give you something to fret about, If you didn’t do enough of this trying to figure out the puzzles. (I’m on level 4120) THAT’S ALL PPL CARRY ON !!!!
What do the Lightning on the wheel do?
I emailed Fugo this question about the lightning bolt on May 11, 2023 and they replied almost a month later, but at least they got back to me. Their response was, “The lightning on the Lucky Wheel increases the possibility of you getting more gems in the next spin although it doesn’t give you gems. That is, you’ll be likely to receive more gems from the Lucky Wheel if you watch a video to spin it again after you have received the lightning.” So in other words, they’re trying to get players to watch even more ads…

How do I play previous days, pm that I can get the suns?
Love this game but the instructions are certainly minimal.
– use green gems to buy game ‘helpers’, ie: Sapphires, Rockets, Light Bulbs, etc.
– Sapphires let you play any Daily Puzzle you’ve missed (try to play this puzzle on
the day it’s issued, so you’re not required to buy Sapphires).
– Rockets & light bulbs fill in random blank puzzle squares with letters.
– a Hammer fills in the exact blank word square you select.
(Still trying to figure out the Butterfly Tournament, lol). 😉
